Description: This is an extremely fine post-Vietnam War era U.S. Navy Special Warfare Badge that is in excellent condition. This dates from about 1977. The eagle with trident is with an extremely fine gilt finish with burnished highlights. The reverse is marked with the maker's code 'N-L3-A’ indicating manufacture by Vanguard. The three posts on the reverse side are fitted with period clutches. This is a beautiful looking badge that is of much higher quality than those made today and one which remains in excellent, undamaged condition. 9175
