Description: This is a guache painting of a perergrine falcon after the original by Mansur,17th century court artist of Emperor Jehangir. Unsigned. The sight of the artwork measures 3 1/2" x 6 1/4". It is sandwiched inside a folded white lightweight card paper which is tacked together with glue. I can peak in at one point and see that the painting does not appear to be fully pasted to backing - it may be tacked at corners but I can't see it fully. Background paper measures approximately 10 1/8" x 13 3/4". Unsure of age, but would guess 20-40 years old.Condition: upper right corner of painting has a small pin hole. Lower left has some flaw that was likely in the making - see last two photos. White front has some faint spots and light indentations and a corner crease. This will be safely packaged.
