I removed the restriction and added a large exhaust port that directs exhaust in a trouble free area.. Make sure the carburetor on your saw is adjustable on the H and L settings. Some EPA model saws have a fixed or absent H screw. I have been producing and selling performance based high flow chainsaw mufflers since 2018.
