Description: This beautiful serving bowl by Porcelaine de Paris features a charming hand painted and finely detailed vegetable pattern. Crafted in Paris France - Porcelaine De France is more commonly known as "Vieux Paris" by antique dealers. The porcelain is a hard paste or pure white, very bright and was aimed at imitating the works of Sèvres. Hand painted and very detailed design of an artichoke, pea pods and what looks like thyme sprigs with root. Bowl is heavy and measures 8" across and 4" tall.
