Clear Case Condition (what’s holding the card): very nice (all of our standard-size graded card cases come shipped in an outer/protective poly bag to keep your card’s clear plastic case clean) More about this rare card: This card comes from the 1992-93 Upper Deck NFL Experience Boxed set. One set, per case, was seeded with GOLD-border cards, making the short-print (SP) gold parallel cards notably more challenging to obtain. Furthermore, these cards feature a foil edge, which was highly condition-sensitive. Of the entire set, Joe Montana's card is arguably the most condition-sensitive of all, being the #1 card from the set, and packaged as the top card in the boxed set (each set was factory-coalited). As such, this top-most Montana card commonly has excessive wear. This is best-evidenced by no Gold copy having attained higher than PSA 6 EX-MT to date. Currently only four (4) copies have achieved this grade, worthy of the finest Montana collection!
