Description: Beautiful original oil painting on canvas by K. N. Stern of Polyanthus. Painted under the Society of Women Artists, founded in 1855, it is unknown when this painting was done but the style of the frame and the pricing in guineas suggests 1950’s or 60’s. It is in excellent condition except for a small chip out of the back part of the frame - it would not be seen if hanging up. Framed dimensions are 13.5” x 15.5”. Ornate frame is made of carved wood.
