Stones have also been scientifically proven to have a calming and peaceful effect on those viewing them! About the Stone: This is a retapped old vein Crazy Lace Agate! Old Vein Crazy Lace has some wild and crazy patterns that make some really unique scenes, but it does have some softer minerals like Calcite and Feldspar, and will more than likely need to be treated before polishing or cabbing. When you look at this slab, it is well worth it though! Crazy Lace Agate is a highly popular and attractive Agate from the Desert of Mexico! Crazy Lace has some awesome and amazing Lace and bright vivid colors! It can take a great polish, and work into some stunning designer grade cabochons! Crazy Lace can have lots of different varieties and scenes! It has so many different patterns and colors to work with! Weight: Approx 1 lbs 4.2 oz Measurements (inches - longest - approx): 4.9 x 2.9 x 2.8 I do my best to represent the stones with photos. I don't enhance photos, though sometimes brightness and contrast on monitors may differ, and while a photo may look just like the rock on my end, it will sometimes appear brighter or duller on your end. I run my monitor at default brightness and contrast settings. We take our photos either under bright synthetic light or under sunlight. Photos of polished specimens are taken dry. To clean polished display specimens, we recommend a cheap toothbrush and water. Scrub gently and allow to air dry or wipe clean with a microfiber cloth. Since we are new, we love feedback regarding them, and if you are an experienced polisher, we would love some pointers and tips! Also, some cerium oxide (white residue) may be on the stone. This is harmless, and can generally be removed with water and a toothbrush. We do however do our best to clean them, but the polishing agent can be difficult to see and remove. Hopefully in the future we will be able to expand our shop with a sonic cleaner!
