The decals go on the outside of any flat, clean, outer surface on exterior items as well as interior items. Step 1: Rub over decal with credit card to push out any air pockets and to make sure it sticks together in step 2. Step 2: Pull paper backing from decal & transfer tape carefully & slowly at a sharp angle. Step 3: Evenly apply decal to surface and rub over to assure adhesion.
