Description: The Doug Sneyd Collection Vault Collectibles, dba on eBay as empire.auctions, is pleased to offer to his many fans and admirers a rare opportunity to acquire books from the personal collection of Doug Sneyd. Mr. Sneyd, the legendary Playboy cartoonist (see below for biography) is downsizing his collection and is offering a selection of books, sketch books, and miscellanea from his library. The collection represents items Mr. Sneyd purchased himself as well as long-treasured gifts from fans and fellow artists. Due to health concerns, Mr. Sneyd decided that now is the time to let others enjoy these books. Included in the collection are volumes from some of the industry's greatest talents. Many are unsigned. However, a select few are autographed and some are personalized by the artist to Mr. Sneyd. Each volume includes a Vault Collectibles Certificate of Authenticity. About the item: From the personal collection of Doug Sneyd, this program guide is from the 2009 Emerald City ComiCon in Seattle, WA. Includes guest list with their locations, including, of course, Mr. Sneyd as well as other guest like Joe Jusko, Adam Hughes, Stan Sakai, and many others. The program is marked with notes of artists Doug and Heidi wanted to visit at the convention. Of note, 2009 was Mr. Sneyd's first time at ECCC. Included with the program guide are photocopies of images from Mr. Sneyd's files, mementos he kept, and this one features a blond Playboy Bunny in red. There are two photocopies of images of Doug working on the piece as well as a photocopy of the finished piece. Also included is the image on acetate (which measures approximately 3 1/2 by 5 inches) Please note, the listing includes the convention program guide and photocopies of the afore mentioned images as well as the small acetate piece- all from the personal files of the artist himself. The guide has a good bit of use wear, the other pieces are good with only minor wear, and they will be shipped with the utmost care.
