Description: This is a plaster statue of St. Louis, the King of France, who lived from 1214 to 1270. He was known as a devout Catholic and built the Sainte-Chapelle (Holy Chapel) in Paris to house Christ's crown of thorns and a piece of the True Cross. The statue shows the King holding the Crown of Thorns on a white cloth in his left hand and his scepter in his right hand. He stands just under 12" tall from the bottom of the base and is 4 " wide and about 4 " deep.
