Description: A lovely antique cast metal bas relief plaque of an Belle Epoque beauty in profile. Continental in origin, most likely French, possibly German. The relief is mounted on a ebonised quartersawn oak board that once had an easel back applied to it. The sculpture has a two color bronze patina, not sure of the metal of the piece, but suspect it is spelter or white metal. Including the mount, the overall size is 6 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches and the piece is in excellent condition commensurate with age.
