Description: This is a vintage divided back postcard, postally used and postmarked 1912 from St. Louis, Missouri. Postcard features a view of the Plankinton House Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. First built in 1867, and expanded in 1882. The entire structure was demolished in 1915 for the construction of the Plankinton Arcade. Postcard features a row of shops along the ground floor with pedestrians and a horse pulled wagon. Postcard may have normal wear associated with old postcards such as creases and bent corners.
