Description: Up for auction is a Pioneer CT-W403R, 2 head stereo double cassette deck. The deck is serviced and the following repairs have been done: - Cleaned the heads and pinch rollers.- Replaced the melted belts, lubricated the capstan and reel shafts, adjusted the speed, W&F deck A: 0.16% WTD, deck B: 0.12% WTD. - Adjusted the playback/record heads for correct azimuth.-Cleaned the potentiometers using deoxit D5. - Adjusted the electronics for correct levels.- Frequency response (-20dB, +/-3dB): 20-18Khz type I and II, 20-20Khz type IV.- S/N: 56dB Dolby off, 64dB Dolby B, 70 Dolby C with tape type I and 59dB Dolby off, 67 Dolby B, 72dB Dolby C with tapes type II/IV.- Distortion: 0.45% type I, 0.90% type II, 1.80% type IV. All the functions are operating as they should be, playback, record, ff, rew, pause, counter, auto reverse, music scan, headphones, Dolby B/C. The performance is very good for this low level deck in both playback and record modes. The deck is in a very good cosmetic condition, considering the age (see the pictures). This is a 120V model, S/N ML3913659SI. All the questions are very welcome. I moved recently in the US from Greece, where I was working in Greek Nakamichi service during 90's and I have all the professional equipment (original test tapes, oscilloscope, Nakamichi T-100 physical unit, CR-7 test unit, 1000ZXL/700ZXL test unit, Revox B-215 bias calibration unit).
