Description: Absolutely gorgeous vintage 1940s / early 1950s party dress made of an iridescent silvery gray coloured taffeta with a raised pinstriped pattern. The A-line swing dress has winged cuffed elbow length sleeves with button detail, a tailored bodice with a notched neckline with a rear folded collar accented with button detail, nipped waist, side metal zipper opening and just below the knee length A-line cut skirt. The dress is unlined. MEASUREMENTS: No labels ... the bust measures 38 inches (and therefore fits a size 32 - 34 bust best), the waist measures 28 inches and the hips are free. There is no stretch to the fabric - as always, remember to leave room for you when using these measurements to determine fit. The dress is 48 inches in length and the sleeves are 14 inches long.
