The entire silver surface was oxidized naturally with egg yolk, polished, then sealed in a coat of clear lacquer to resist tarnish and preserve the aged finish of the piece over time. The pendant comes suspended on an 18" Sterling silver chain and measures 29x19x18mm (1.1" x 0.7" x 0.7").
