Pink Floyd - Obscured By Clouds 1st UK Press 1972 A1/B1 EX+/EX Withdrawn Mix

Description: Rare original 1st UK pressing of Pink Floyd’s “Obscured By Clouds” Original soundtrack to the French film “La Vallee” and the album released just before Dark Side of The Moon Rounded corner matte sleeve, original patent numbers inner. “Gramophone Company” credit on label edges. Matrix numbers: Side 1: SHSP 4020 A-1 AD 2 Side 2: SHSP 4020 B-1 OR 2 The vinyl grades as EX+. A couple of very tiny paper scuffs only when viewed under strong light. It plays with great audio throughout. A couple of tiny crackles in a couple of spaces between tracks only and these are barely audible. Play grade is EX+. This is the withdrawn original pressing, which was hastily withdrawn due to apparent sibilance issues with this pressing. Roger Waters discusses it in the “Live At Pompei” film, however I didn’t notice any sibilance on this copy. The sleeve grades EX overall. It has one small squab on one corner and a small scuff on the spine edge (see photos). It’s otherwise in great condition! Original inner has a little light discolouration but certainly nothing major. EX. I will include a brand new poly lined inner too. Very very nice original UK pressing from the date of release. Please have a look at my other listings as happy to combine shipping.
