Description: Pig'n Whistle, a Southern sandwich shop, opened in 1928 in Georgia. It expanded to more locations, including Jacksonville, Florida and several in Georgia, eventually covering 5 Southern states. Pork BBQ was the specialty and it was served by car hops until the 1960s. The platter features the famous logo of 2 pigs with whistles with the name in between. Tan with brown and manufactured by Bailey Walker in the 1930s. It measures 12 by 8 1/2 inches. No chips or cracks but there is moderate to heavy utensil use in the well along with dark spots, which I've pictures. Great drive in restaurant piece.We ship US Priority Mail ONLY!
