Binding Style: Early cloth-backed marbled boards, with leather title-labels Condition: Internally - Very good condition, Binding – Good Condition. The pages are clean and bright with minimal foxing or soiling to be found. There are, throughout all volumes, occasionally a purple stamp from a previous owner, a Dr. Jur H. Voss, they are primarily on the end-pages. The text-blocks are complete and sound with no missing or ripped pages. There are some creased corners here and there, as well as some creasing on the fold out plate. The bindings are tight and complete with no splits. The boards have some heavy rubbing and scratching of the paper boards, as well as some heavy fraying along the edges and corners as seen from the photographs. Also, the volumes have some splitting of the paper joints, but nothing that disturbs the structural integrity of the binding or boards. Overall a fantastic set.
