This auction is for Set B only, as pictured.Brown mark on the underside of each plate reads, "Espana - Blanco, Block, Bidasoa, Spain."Made in Bidasoa, SpainPossibly vintage dating to the 1960s or 1970s; discontinued and hard to find.Bright white porcelain bodies with solid black bullfighter "Toro y Toreros" images by Picasso from the 1950s - each image included here is a different scene. Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) signature at bottom of each image is in-print, part of the print.Technique unknown. Could be transferware, but pixels are not visible with a jeweler's eye.Coupe shape with nicely flared sides, tactile verge, and small foot.Each plate measures about 8" in diameter and 1" high. All 4 pieces together weigh 2 pounds, 10 ounces before packaging.Each plate is in very good, pre-owned, used condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing and only minor utensil marks, if any. Any other condition issues, fleabites, etc. would be from the manufacturing process. Plate stands are not part of this auction. Condition: See specifics above.
