Description: This beautiful etching by American artist Philip Kappel (1901-1981) features a crew of boat builders in Essex. It's an extremely detailed depiction and demonstrates the artist's skill. The etching is in excellent condition but there are two pieces of tape residue on the back from the original mat. The etching is signed in pencil below the print and titled in the lower left corner.
