Description: In this listing: Vintage PHILCO TRANSITONE MODEL 49-602 AM AC/DC VACUUM TUBE RADIO -NON WORKING Color of Radio appears brown but it is actually maroon according to the manufacturer This is an AC/DC Radio and will operate at up to 120 VAC or DC and has a connector for a battery as shown in the photos Cabinet is in dirty conditions with its share of marring and scratches and what looks like paint speckles on the surface Tubes are original as far as I know as well as the non-polarized power cord Buyer's Note: I did some very limited troubleshooting on this radio and found the the 1T4 tube as an open filament. Since all the tubes' filaments are wired in series, the radio will not function.
