For sale is the 50th Anniversary RW50 Artist Proof Golden Edition. This edition comes with an unusual round medallion with the matching number of the print engraved on the front. Only 200 Artist’s Proofs were created, and were carefully controlled in distribution. In 2016, the Catalog value of this A.P. Print was shown to be $1000! The print is a rendering of a drake and hen Pintail duck, the waterfowl who always looks like its wearing a tuxedo. They are magnificent ducks, and even better fliers. If you’re a hunter, then you know they come in fast and low. If you’re going to get a good shot it is usually on the first pass where they look for danger and open water. Scholer won this contest over 1564 admissions representing the best of America’s waterfowl artists.
