They measure about 6 1/2" tall; the pepper mill is in good working order. Both the wood sections and the ceramic section with the Bonnie Brae pattern has no chips, cracks, or stains and the pattern is nice and bright. The only thing to mention is that the top wood portion of the pepper mill appears to have a glossy finish, but the bottom does not and the salt shaker does not; please check out the photos in supersize.
