FEATURES: - One 20 piece set of vintage brand new Pfaltzgraff "America" dinner plates- 4 unique dinner plates, each with a different quilt block patchwork design (10 3/8" in diameter) - 2 of the 4 dinner plates have the back marked with MAFA (Museum of American Folk Art) stamp- 4 soup/cereal bowls (Width: 5 3/4" / Height: 2 1/4")- 4 bread/salad/dessert plates (7" diameter)- 4 mugs - 4 saucers - Made from high-quality stoneware The "America" dinnerware was produced by The Pfaltzgraff Co. in York, Pennsylvania from 1983 until 1989. The America collection was designed mainly by David Walsh in cooperation with the then Museum of American Folk Art (now the American Folk Art Museum) in New York City. The designs are licensed from the Museum's Bird of Paradise quilt top (c.1858 - 1863). All the pieces in the America line have different designs on the plates, a base of yellow ware glaze, some with stenciled designs and others sponged.
