Description: During the last year of passenger service on the Delmarva Peninsula, the PRR refurbished two P-70 coaches under a subsidy agreement with the State of Delaware. The railroad would provide a new commuter hours weekday schedule between Delmar and Wilmington. It would be the last new named train on the Pennsy, The Blue Diamond and the subsidized service would last until the end of 1965. At the time, future service would depend on patronage which was dismal. This ticket is unused and in mint collectible condition. Free first-class mail.
