From what I have read it is estimated to have been produced around the 1950's to 1960's during this era, wind-up toys like this one were popular and brought joy to children. And continued through the 1980's to possibly the 1990's or later. With no box or paperwork on this item I can't say for sure when this item was made. It will still delight children and even collectors, or to use the music box inside to fix a better looking one. Please look carefully at all photos for this listing is sold as is.
