Description: Palmer’s Penstemon is a beautiful herbaceous perennial plant for the western xeric garden. Native to much of the western U.S., this plant has pale pink flowers with purplish streaks. Pollinators love it. One of the only Penstemon with fragrant flowers. The semi-succulent foliage is an attractive blueish green color. Seeds require cold stratification in order to germinate, but will germinate with ease in the spring if sown in the proper location. Flowers in its second year of growth.
