This is a cost-effective series that boasts excellent sound and playability at a great price. The S2 Standard22 we are introducing is based on the Standard22, which was added to the lineup in 1994 (now out of production), but the shape of the body top has been changed to a beveled top, a pickguard has been attached, and each part is a special part for the S2 series, making it a model that achieves high cost performance. The all-mahogany body is combined with a 25-inch scale and a pattern regular-shaped mahogany neck, resulting in a guitar with a rich sound and powerful sound that is typical of PRS. The pickup installed is the S2 #7, which was newly developed for this model, and in combination with the push/pull coil tap of the tone pot, it produces a variety of sounds. With a specially designed bridge and PRS's classic locking type pegs, this is a guitar that does not compromise on sound or playability.In terms of sound, it features a fatter sound than the 22-fret model. This is of course due to the characteristics of the pickups, but the front pickup is positioned closer to the head, which results in a sweeter sound. (The rear pickup has been arranged to give it a well-balanced sound.)
