Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single by Patti Austin titled "Baby, Come To Me b/w Solero", originally released in 1981 by Qwest Records. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for 45 RPM singles, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The original inner sleeve is graded as Excellent because of ink writing. In the dead wax, between the labels and end of the tracks, is etched "SP" and the matrix numbers SR-1/SR-1, followed by "Mastered At Allen Zentz, L.A. Calif." along with two "bird" images, indicating that this record was mastered at Allen Zentz Mastering of San Clemente, California by Brian Gardner, before the first stampers were used to make this record at Specialty Records Corporation's pressing plant, located in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, without any sleeve marks, surface scratches or scuffs. I'm play grading this record as Near Mint. It plays all the way through without any surface noise, pops, skips or lock-ups from start to fimish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Specialty pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.
