Description: Pat. 1870 "STRATTON BROTHERS" Greenfield, Mass. 8" Rosewood & Brass Level I am not a tool dealer, but I assume this is rosewood. If you have superior knowledge please be so kind as to "school me" as I want to get this right. This appears to be a scarce piece as it is a smaller size (8") Also has the "bubble on the end as well as the top". Both bubbles appear to be in accurate working order!?! The pictures don't do this little beauty justice. The workmanship smoothly combining the wood with the brass is a work of art. I did not attempt to clean... Please ask questions!
