Description: You are bidding on one sweetheart iron or blade or cutter for a Stanley Number 80 cabinet scraper as pictured. It is marked with the early style of the STANLEY sweetheart logo (top of heart is raised up into the rectangle) and "MADE IN USA" below that. Width is about a 32nd over 2-3/4". Both long edges have been sharpened with a bevel edge and in a rounded shape as shown in the end views. Overall length (or height) of the blade is about 2-1/16" measured on either edge.Condition is fair to good. The logo side is the cast side, with some modest roughness and several areas of pitting. The non-logo side is the machined side, which has some patina (color) and lots of tiny spots of pitting. SHIPPING: Under 1 pound, shipped in a padded envelope, shipped US Postal Service Ground Advantage, insurance is included. The Post Office now has several prices increases during each year, raising a few things but not everything at each increase. And they now raise their rates during the Holidays, which means early October to late January. Their big increases are in January, timed to start at the end of the Holiday rates, and this year is no exception. And it's not just the postage rates, the insurance charges and the delivery signature charges have also gone up. There is now a surcharge for Priority Mail packages over 20" long, and another for Priority Mail packages over 30" long, because those longer packages won't fit in their automatic machines. And the Post Office has discontinued the Regional Flat Rate boxes, which were often less expensive for certain sizes and weights. I try to pick the best shipping option for each listing, based both on what is the least expensive and on what I think is needed to protect the item. If the value is $250 or over, eBay requires your signature at delivery for the buyer and seller protections to be in effect.SALES TAX: Interstate sales tax is now the reality on all the major selling websites including eBay. If I ship to a state where eBay is required to collect sales tax, eBay will charge you the sales tax for your location. The sales tax is completely out of my hands -- I don't have anything to do with deciding whether to charge tax, I don't have anything to do with deciding the tax rate, and I never see any of the funds that are collected, they go directly to eBay.SELLING OUTSIDE OF EBAY: Why would I risk my lengthy good standing with eBay to save you a couple of dollars?
