Description: Battle of Seelow Heights - April 19-20th 1945 PanzerBlitz / Panzer Leader Variant - new scenario and new units Here is a scenario for the classic PanzerBlitz game from Avalon Hill. It features the Battle of Seelow Heights, which took part near the end of WWII on the outskirts of Berlin as the Red Army closed in on the Capital of Nazi Germany. There is a two-page article, a scenario card (printed on ivory cardstock) a full color coversheet to make the new unit counters, and four map sections printed on matt cardstock. The new map features mostly open terrain, but includes new features (a train track, and a section of broken road). When assembled, the map will make two panels matching the size in the original game. While the hex-size matches the original, these are not geomorphic and the terrain will not abutt the original maps. New rules cover morale, leaders, ATRs, and Panzerfausts. (one picture shows a close-up of the map around the town of Seelow, another is a close-up of some units in the countersheet) You will need the classic PanzerBlitz and Panzer leader games from Avalon Hill (for the rules, charts, and most units) for this scenario. NOTE: This set requires assembly! The map and countersheet will need to be glued onto mattboard or posterboard and cut/trimmed. (scenario design and playtesting by Tom Williams).
