Description: Old technology but still capable of first class results. As a bridge camera it has all the capabilities of a dSLR barring interchangeable lenses, but instead you get a built-in 27-486mm zoom which can focus down to 1cm for macro shots. It has the full set of P-A-S-M modes as well as numerous scene modes, and as a Panasonic Lumix you get the best image stabilization and macro shooting amongst all the bridge camera makers. Well okay, Canon's macro is damn good too, but you can't go wrong with a Panasonic.That's the good stuff, now for the less thrilling part. The camera has been well used over the years and shows numerous small scuffs, happily nothing ugly. But the screen has a nasty crack (the LCD is undamaged), happily not very noticeable when it's in use (see the listing photos) and easy to ignore. If the camera had not been reset before I acquired it, the frame numbers suggest a shutter count just under 13,800, including the sample shots I've uploaded, all taken with the camera listed here.Unfortunately I need the charger for other cameras, but the auction does include a charged battery, and also a Lumix-branded carrying case.
