There is no publishing date. This is a splendid View Book containing 6 fold-out panorama views of The City of Auckland. The City of Auckland is in the northern island of New Zealand. It is situated on a narrow isthmus, the dividing land between two splendid harbours, is a modern and progressive municipality, and the main port for the fertile and beautiful province which bears the city's name. Tee town stands on the southern shore of the Waitemata Harbour, the suburban residential areas extending north across the harbour and in a southerly direction across the Tamaki Isthmus, liking up with Onehunga, a small borough on the shores of the Manukau, 7 miles south of Auckland. The book measures approximately 9 1/2" x 14". The boards are made of stock paper. The pictures are stapled into the book by the left edge. All of the pictures are in black and white. The exterior boards are in poor Condition. There are stains, creases, nicks, tears, scuffing and bent corners. There is a piece of both boards missing at the spine. Although the boards are poor, the interior is generally in Good Condition. The 1st picture measures approximately 9" x 39". It is an extensive view of Auckland's main business and shopping area and was taken from the Ferry Bulding Tower looking almost due south. This picture is in Good Condition. It is tearing slightly at the end of the crease folds and has a few nicks around the edges. The 2nd picture measures approximatley 9" x 39". It is a view of the Waitemata Harbour and Auckland City from the North Shore. The picture is in Good Condition, although it is tearing slightly at the end of the crease folds and has a few nicks around the edges. The 3rd picture measures approximately 9" x 39". It is a picture of Auckland from Mt. Eden. Mt. Eden, an extinct volcano, is the nearest considerable elevation to the city. This picture is in Good Condition, with a few nicks around the edges and 2 stains on the left 1/3 of the picture. The 4th picture measures approximately 9" x 39". It is a picture of Epsom, Remuera, and Ellerslie from the Summit of One Tree Hill. It is in Good Condition, with a few nicks around the edges and a stain on the left 1/3 of the picture. The 5th picture measures approximately 9" x 39". It is a picture of Onehunga and the Manukau Harbour from One Tree Hill. It is also in Good Condition, with a few nicks around the edges. The 6th picture measures approximately 9" x 39", as well. It is a picture of Ellerslie Racecourse and is in Good Condition. One of the creases has a small tear at the bottom edge. There are a few "nicks" in the sky of the picture, which may be some kind of glue or paint. A few nicks around the edges. Other dings here and there.
