Description: This offering is the legendary Panasonic RF-2200. I own and have owned many analog and digital portable receivers but these RF-2200s are my "go-to" when I want to have fun trying to pull in distant stations in SW and AM. These RF-2200s still competes with the best of analog and digital portable receivers in RX sensitivity to fine tune in those far stations. There is something about manually tuning that knob to listen to those stations. Anyone that has experience in listening to the world of radio knows about the Panasonic RF-2200. If you don't have one, most talk about when they did or still want to add one to their collection - this radio is on the short list. This radio has been tested with AC power and battery power for functionality. Dial light and tuning meter work great. Gyro-antenna rotates and stays up. Telescoping antenna extends/retracts. This offering is in good cosmetic condition. There is minor corrosion on battery negative contacts (see pics). No effect on battery power. This is a vintage electronic item.
