Description: Up for auction is a 1960s “President Special” First Class chinaindividual coffee pot. This pattern of china was produced by Noritake and wasin use with Pan Am from 1965 to 1970. Though there are many pieces of thispattern in circulation the individual coffee & tea pot are very rare. Theywere only produced for a short time and then discontinued because of the fragilityof the spouts and ‘bad pour’ if chipped. In 25 years of monitoring this Pan Ampattern on Ebay it has appeared less than 5 times and thus is extremely rare. The pot stands about 4.5 inches tall and 5.25 inches widefrom spout to back of handle. This pot is in mint condition without chips orcracks or imperfections in the glaze.
