Description: Here's a sweet little ceramic bowl of pale butter-yellow with a glossy glaze and embossed texturing on the bowl base and lid. The slightly domed lid has tiny applied white flowers and leaves in the center. The interior is smooth and clean as is the Lid with a round flange on the underside allowing it to be easily and securely set in place. The trinket or jewelry bowl & lid measures 3" in diameter and 2.5" tall. It weighs 6 ounces. Condition would be excellent were it not for one of the lid flowers now gone. It's a smooth clean loss with the pale yellow in its place making it hard to tell there ever was a flower there, see last photo. Otherwise no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, or discoloration. This was crafted in Japan, perhaps in the 1960s, and imported to the USA by a Dallas, Texas company. The back mark is a silver foil label that reads "Arco Fine Quality, Dallas, Made in Japan. Thanks for looking.
