Description: Stately pair of candlesticks or holders from Pal Bell, also marked on the underside as made in Israel. Made of metal, hammered bronze apparently, with a scale pattern, fluted or hour glass shape, and heavy glass base under which one sees Hebraic writing. Not sure of the English translation but believe it's "Remember the Sabbath" at least in part. They are related to Shabbat celebration. Beautiful patina consistent with the holders not having been over-cleaned. They were probably made in the 1950s. Approximately 11" or 28 cm in height.
