Description: Fabulous pair of antique late 18th/early 19th century Leeds pearlware plates. These were made c 1800 and are a rare thing. Fruit and foliage boldly painted in a lovely cobalt blue. A simple but very pleasing design. Classic moulded rim/edge. Approximately 23.5cm diameter, these plates are in very good condition for age. One plate does have a hairline. Please check photos. But it is stable and displays well. The other plate is excellent. No restoration or chips etc. Highly decorative unusual early Leeds plates!
