Description: Pair of FA Schumann Berlin Blue & Gold Porcelain Deep Plates Circa 1835-1851 Pair of mid 19th century German porcelain deep plates / soup plates. Each plate is decorated with a blue border. With gold gilding along the edge and bottom of the blue band. Marked on the reverse FA Schumann Moabit Berlin. This mark was used by Friedrich Adolph Schumann in Berlin between 1835 and 1851. Has wear consistent with age and use and one plate has a stacking flake to the foot rim. Otherwise good condition. Each plate measures approximately 9 5/8 inches wide x 1 1/2 inches tall. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces. FU
