Description: PAIR OF CANDLEHOLDERS PUTTI DECOR LOUIS XVI STYLE ERA 19TH ~ BRONZE & WHITE MARBLE ~ Very beautiful pair of candleholders Louis XVI style, from the second half of the 19th. Manufacturing bronze, original gilding in very good condition. White marble base ; some wear, including 3 small lacks on the rear of the candleholders, not visible of the front (see last photo). The winged putti carry the light arms. They're finely decorated with acanthus leaves, vine branches and laurel branches. The candleholders base is enriched with a scroll and pearls. The bronzes are finely hand-chiseled, a guarantee of high manufacturing quality. There is a slight deformation on one light arm, but it's not serious in terms of the overall harmony (see penultimate photo). The candleholders is complete and perfectly stable.
