Description: Offering an elegant pair of very old French solid brass wall sconces (in the 100-year-old vicinity) which can be used to hold candles or be electrified. At the moment there is candelabra wire running through the two arms of each sconce. The quality of the brass and its antique patina give these sconces a warm, inviting look, as does their understated design. The last photo shows the mounting device, a hole to accommodate a bent nail or piece of metal that you or your electrician will fashion. There’s never anything standard about installing French lighting – the price we pay for its individuality and beauty. Measurements: about 8 ¾ inches across, 12 ½ high. They project about 4 inches from the wall. The holes for candles are about 5/8” in diameter.
