Description: This listing is for a pair of 41" Purple Power Bands. Each provides 62 lbs resistance. Made of latex. Chlorine resistant (so you can do workouts in the pool!) Our seamless latex bands are made through a continuous layering process to prevent breakage. For this reason, each band can stretch up to 2½ times the original length, creating a wide range of tension levels. Store your resistance loops sealed in a cool, dark place. Do not store in direct sunlight. They can be used for: * Speed and agility training * Jumping * Plyometrics * Aerobics * Stretching * Flexibility exercises * General conditioning * Prehabilitation * Rehabilitation Made of 100% Pure Latex Rubber this 1 1/8" power band is similar to the Woody band variety and is typically best for general conditioning, rehabilitation, stretching, jumping, speed training, aerobics, and for lifters as assistance for the upper body to increase the resistance for biceps and triceps. It is ideal for stronger benchers, and with exercises involving the lower body, calves, quads, hamstring and glutes. For the stronger lifter, they will add considerable resistance to bicep and tricep exercises. At full stretch, this PURPLE band provides 62 lbs resistance. As you drive up and out of the Bench Press, the resistance increases as the band lengthens. Bands allow you to use a weight or resistance that challenges your muscles throughout the entire range of motion and are not limited by the weight you can lift during the bottom half of a rep. You can apply bands to many other barbell strength exercises, such as the Squat, Deadlift and even Olympic lifts. Wrap a band on each side of the bar and attach it to a stationary object, such as a squat rack. Dumbbell exercises aren't quite as easy to do with bands, but you can hold the band and dumbbell with each hand for the same effect.
