Description: Pair Meissen Tree Form Candelabra These stunning tree form pieces date to the late 18th-early 19th Century. Beautifully detailed pieces, one of a boy in a tree stealing eggs from a nest, the other features a man with a nest in hand playing with a small child. Original pair. Both have crossed swords with pommel mark, one is marked "1160/85" with painter's mark 28, the other 1153/111 with painters mark 28. Large and heavy. Approx 9"H X 8"W. Condition: Heavy chipping to leaves and a few branches, the figures are intact with no damage and no signs of restoration.
