Description: Norman Cherner for Plycraft, early 60s. His chairs with the fixed base are a common enough favorite that they've been copied over and over. These are the perfect storm- it's near impossible to find them with these organically spacious swivel bases instead; and in the rare event you do, they will never have this insane original color upholstery. Maybe I'm weird but I prefer them without the pretzel arms! You know full well that with this combo, these are the prettiest Cherners you've seen. Please see photos for exact condition of the pair for sale. One has rubber foot covers, one just has little rubber feet. One has a very faint circle in the upholstery, hard to see without looking for it. One of these has a small piece of laminate missing on the back. this can likely be color matched with a light walnut stain, or I'm hoping to have it repaired in house eventually with a patch of correct laminate and I will update the listing. Beautiful clean chairs for their age. The owner of the first set is still thrilled with their purchase. Pretty sure these chairs and this painting need to never ever ever be separated... ask if it's still available and I'll make a deal to keep them togethe
