Description: An exceptionally rare and fine pair of early 1900s/late 1800s cast iron sconce lights. The pair was fully restored, stripped to bare metal, given a rust resistant under coat then two coats of dead black, period correct, enamel. These are medium large to large, standing 19.5 inches with 6-inch globes. The cast iron has pitting from over 100 years exposed to the elements, and retains some original casting flaws. The globes are 3.25-inch fitters, cased opal glass. Wiring is new and the lights have modern mounting plates with ground screws. You may choose optional frosted flame-style globes at no additional charge.
