Mauriat instruments provide consistency and excellent response with modern keywork and ergonomics. The PMXT-66RX Series Tenor Saxophones incorporates P. Mauriat's unique rolling process which fully utilizes the saxophone's existing material. Unlike rolled tone holes of the past, there is no soldering here; the tone holes are drawn from the body and then rolled over (just like the original Conn saxophones) allowing superior resonance throughout the entire saxophone and increased response in all ranges. The PMXT-66RXUL also has an enlarged bell that lets the warm, fat sound of this exceptional horn really cut through an ensemble, and oversized nickel silver key touches. This professional class instrument also features a Super VI style neck and hand engraving on the bell and bow.
