Overland Models N-scale Union Pacific CA-4 Caboose Custom Paint & Correct Decals

Description: Offered for sale is my N-scale, Overland Models, Union Pacific CA-4, Custom Professionally Painted, riveted, brass caboose. This model is better than new since Overland Models never offered these versions factory painted. Paint is Scalecoat II, which is the most accurate UP Armour Yellow (original) paint available and produces an excellent, durable finish and is what I paint all of my Union Pacific brass models with. This model is stock, with no added detailing other than making sure the body was straight and all the soldered-on details were securely attached. However, I added clear .005" clear Styrene windows and MTL N-scale couplers with the magnetic dongles cut away. The end platform safety chains and coupler lift bars, included separately with the stock unpainted model, were soldered in place before stripping and painting the rest of the car body. The box is in excellent shape, with the original Styrofoam and foam padding as well as the original thin clear plastic wrap and "Ajin Korea" sticker. I've test run this caboose, just to make sure it runs on my Rail Craft Code55 and hand-laid Code40 PCB trackage, and it runs well, even with the stock brass inside swing hanger trucks. The coupler height is correct when compared against the Kadee Coupler Height Fixture. The metal wheel flanges are lo-profile so it'll run on Atlas55 track without a problem (I've tested it). The correct era for this caboose is between 1956 (steel inside swing hanger trucks being applied to some CA-4's that year) and possibly as late as June of 1960, when the last of the CA-3, CA-4 and CA-5's were renumbered into the 25000 series. This beautiful UP CA-4 model will look perfect on the end of a long freight being pulled by your steam power (Challengers, FEF's, Big Boys, 2-8-0's etc.), your diesels (GP-7s, GP-9s, RS's, F's etc.) or any of your GTEL Turbines (Standard, Veranda and Super Turbines). This brass model includes separate grab irons, correct height and style smokejack, underbody details, unique (not available anywhere else in N-scale) inside swing hanger trucks, and fine ladders & end-platform railings...and an excellent professional paint job.
