Description: In the coming months I am converting a tiny fraction of my several tons of exotic hardwoods back into cash- the good stuff that rarely makes it back to market. I had this stuff drying indoors in a heated space for a decade or more and some of it dates all the way back to 1992 when I began collecting the prettiest wood I could find from around the world. If you have a question, please ask it before purchasing- I know my wood and will answer within a few hours most of the time. All dimensions are +/- 1/16" but tend to be more accurate. If there are defects that I can see that I think would cause a problem I will note it in the description. Burls and live edge may have natural internal flaws. If you want the best, you'll likely find it here. If you don't like it when you get it, just return it for exchange, credit or refund, your choice. Enjoy the eye candy and I hope to see pics of the knife or gun, etc, that was made with my scales or micro lumber. Thanks for looking!Next up for sale:. Outstanding Stabilized Koa bowl blank #7465 * 5 7/16" square x 1 5/8" thick * The Best. Super coloration and lustrous figure. This is a very dense and heavy turning square, it weighed 13 oz when dry, now stabilized to perfection and 32 oz. This will produce a gallery quality bowl. I was a turner for many years and produced many fine bowls, the last photo is of one of them but it is not included in this sale. I'm not saying this will look the same, but it should look just as nice when finished and it should make a fine bowl. These are high quality blocks made using the finest resin, hard and solid and heavy and just waiting for your creative touch. Please examine the photos and ask questions if you're not sure about anything. UV protection in the finish is always recommended to preserve the richness of the color if it is to be used or displayed under sunlight, fluorescent lighting or any other UV producing artificial lighting. Gun grip blanks, micro lumber, box wood, carving block, etc. Please note that the color you see on your screen may be different than the color I see on my screen so please ask questions if precise color or shade is important for your project. Photos are of the dry blank, sanded to 180 grit to show the figure. Just try to imagine how nice this will look with your favorite finish applied!
