Description: Offering an outstanding lot of (12) Christies auction house catalogs from 1978 to 1995. Some of these catalogs are from the heyday of American Antiques and Art, and many of the pieces featured in these catalogs are museum quality. A few are from the famed Americana Week in New York, a week every January where the major auction houses hold sales of important Americana and American Art and Furniture. Included are several focusing on American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture and Folk Art. They are all in what I would call very good condition, though a few are more worn. A few of the catalogs come with “prices realized” sheets, which are typically sent to the buyer after the auction is over. All of the auction catalogs are paperback, except for the Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Eddy Nicholson, which is hardback.
